Mediaview Enhancements and New Features
2 Enhancements to Email Manager Message Editor
The MediaView Support Team is announcing 2 minor enhancements to the Email Manager Message Editor.

  1. Query Count and Query Refresh: This information, located next to the Query Dropdown list, will provide the user with the most recent count and the date/time the count was run for the selected query. If the user wishes to update this count prior to scheduling and deploying the message, they may click on the "Refresh" button.
  2. Schedule Now Button: This button - when clicked - will insert the current date and time into the Date/Time text box. This button is a shortcut for those messages that will be scheduled and deployed once they are complete (as opposed to those messages scheduled for a future date and time).

Advanced Email Results Reporting Tool

The MediaView Support Team is proud to introduce a new Email Results Reporting Tool.

New Features and Capabilities:

  • View delivery and open/click statistics across all MediaViews and time periods.
  • Group delivery results by MediaView, Year, Month and Date
  • Filter delivery results by MediaView, Year, Month and Date
  • New statistics include: Total Opens, OptOut Clicks, Net Clicks (excluding optout clicks) and Click % based upon delivered emails.
  • View delivery information for reporting group and filter
  • Export statistics (including group and detail information) to Excel.

To access this control, click the "Go to Advanced Reporting" link on the Email Blast History Page:

New and Improved File Upload Module

The MediaView Support Team is proud to introduce the new and improved File Upload Module in MediaView3.

New Features and Capabilities:

  • More intuitive field mapping/unmapping interface
  • You now have the ability to create your destination list from within the File Upload Manager without having to leave the module.
  • Summary of field data in your file (blank and non-blank) includes all fields in your file (previous version only showed contact fields)
  • File Upload Module contains a count of Email Status during the upload. Counts include: Duplicate Emails, Emails with Bad Characters, Emails with Bad Syntax, Hard Bounce Emails, Soft Bounce Emails (which have been removed from the system) and Spam Complaints
  • Records which meet any (or all) of the Email Status' above may be suppressed from the upload.
  • Deduping can be done conditionally on Email Address as well as on standard Contact fields.
  • After deduping, the File Upload Module contains a summary of records in each list in MediaView that the file matched against.
  • Records that match any specific list (or all lists) can be suppressed from the upload (including matches to your destination list)
  • Records on the destination list that do not match the file you are uploading may be deleted from the destination list.
  • The Final Review page provides much more detailed summary information, including: Gross Records on Uploaded File, Net Records to be Imported, Destination List, Field Mapping review, Email Status Suppression criteria and List Suppression criteria
