That’s the percentage of consumers who said they agree with the statement that "we should restart the economy and allow businesses to open even if the virus is still not fully contained,” according to a survey by Forbes. It’s an increase of 12% from the same statement that Forbes asked consumers to comment on in late April. Forbes also reported that 47% of consumers disagree with the statement. Forbes polled 958 consumers Dec. 8-9 for the results. It has been polling consumers weekly during the pandemic to track consumer sentiment over time.
